It's crazy to see my childhood band that radio stations refused to play, becoming the biggest band in the world. Blabbermouth.net just released a staggering number on how much Metallica has generated total while being on tour. $1.4 billion!

The article goes on to say "One of the group's North American booking agents, Dennis Arfa of Artists Group International, says he believes METALLICA may well be "the biggest band in the world." "The two biggest apparel pieces in the world are a Yankees hat and a METALLICA T-shirt,".
